All components of the April Showers Waterproofing System are fabricated from flexible PVC sheeting. This System is impervious to water, alkalies and chemical content in cement , personal hygiene products and all cleaning agents that contain chlorine, ammonia, acid and caustic compounds.

The entire area is completely waterproofed with full floor cover with a 100 mm turn up at perimeter edges. The System has amazing stretch capabilities that can easily accomodate all normal or excessive building movements.

The April Shower Tray is not only tough and flexible; it is custom made to suit individual shapes and sizes. The System is manufactured to the Australian Standard (AS 3740) and carries ABSAC Technical Opinion 112.

The Shower Tray has a moulded connection to the floor/waste drain, which becomes an integral part of the System.

The wall membrane fully protects and seals the wall frame and forms a seal around the tap bodies. This membrane covers the framed wall of the shower enclosure and extends beyond the shower to the nearest stud.

Hobs are built inside the tray to ensure the ultimate in water containment. Water damage from leaking bathrooms can be one of the most troublesome aspects of domestic construction. The internal hob feature prevents this happening.

All drainage connections are fully bonded to the floor membrane.
The April Showers Waterproofing System is non toxic, odourless, flexible and allows immediate tile application.
