April Showers Waterproofing was founded in 1982 by David Viles and Robert Hearn The Company's prime objective was to develop a "fool proof" bathroom waterproofing system to combat the most prevalent problem within the building industry, wet area waterproofing breakdown. The problem is an on-going concern for the building industry.

The location is the centre of all interlinking major roads from all points of the compass giving excellent access for one hour travel time to jobs as far away as Katoomba to the west and Bowral in the south.

Scope of Operations
... April Showers works closely with architects and builders and have teams installing their waterproofing system in new buildings and alterations. It also provides a made to measure service to a large number of bathroom renovators who have been trained in the installation procedeure. April offers a leaking shower repair service and provides free technical assistance to home owners with homes suffering this potentially disastrous situation.
