STEP BY STEP LEAKING SHOWER REPAIR PROCEDURE
Removal of two rows of wall tiles and associated wall lining
Drawn by David Viles (not to scale - guide only)
The wall tiles and wall linings have been removed. The job is ready to measure for the "made to measure" PVC shower tray.

Mark a level line around the walls at a height above 150mm (6”) from
the floor and approximately 50mm (2”) below the next highest tile joint.

Use a small angle grinder with a 110 millimeter diamond blade. Cut through the wall tile and the wall lining in one action.

Make sure when you cut with the grinder, you wear personal protective equipment such as a dust mask, eye and ear protection and gloves.

You will need to have your made to measure PVC shower tray ordered and delivered before you can continue with the work.
