STEP BY STEP LEAKING SHOWER REPAIR PROCEDURE
Re-lining the wall surfaces ready for tiling
Drawn by David Viles (not to scale - guide only)
The wall linings are installed over the APRIL PVC SHOWER TRAY
and made ready for the application of the new wall tiles.

Mix a combination of PVC primer and a cementitious tile adhesive.
This forms a paste which is applied over the wall edge of the shower
tray against the brickwork. This paste when cured will aid in the
adhesion of the new cement render to the shower tray.

A caulking gun is used to apply a bead of fast cure poly-urethane
sealant between the intersection of the old and new fibre
cement wall sheets.

Seal the vertical intersection joint between the cement render
and fibre cement wall lining.

Apply a waterproof sealer over the cement render.
This forms a barrier, stopping moisture from entering the brick walls.
