STEP BY STEP LEAKING SHOWER REPAIR PROCEDURE
Installing the shower screen
Drawn by David Viles (not to scale - guide only)
Re-drill and plug the wall tiles to accommodate the shower screen frame
to the new fixing position.

Use stainless steel screws to fix the frame sections to the wall.

Rivet the shower screen sections together where required, the old holes
for the rivets may need re-drilling to line up.

Use a caulking gun to apply a bead of flexible anti-mould silicone around the outside sections of the shower screen/tile intersections.

Apply a silicone seal behind the tap flanges on the wall.

THERE IS A WAITING PERIOD OF 2 DAYS BEFORE YOU CAN USE
YOUR NEWLY REPAIRED SHOWER.

HINT
To keep your grout joints looking clean and mould free, use normal household
laundry bleach. Once a month apply the bleach on and let it stand for 24 hours. Just rinse the area the next day.
